Reading the play. We take a closer look to the material what we are going to work with. The drama “Woyzeck” Analyzing and interpretation. Collecting idée's.

09.00 – 12.00

Improvisations. We make different etudes and studies on the written material finding out the aim of our work. How to transform “Woyzeck” into an actual situation that has the possibility to catch an audience of today’s interest?  

 

14.00 – 17.00

“Open Door Work Shop”: Creative drama exercises. A review

of how you can use drama as a pedagogic tool working with smaller children. Different exercises in addition releasing your inner creativity and fantasy.

We continue with improvisations, writing our manuscript. Now moor precise exercises in order to produce a manuscript. After every improvisation we collect idée's and write them down. In this way we step by step built our manuscript. After Wednesdays work the manuscript will be prepared and ready. If necessary a smaller group can work in evening time.  

 

14.00 – 17.00

“Open Door Work Shop”: Creative improvisations. We use different attributes, words, feelings, situations and atmospheres to create small theatre performances. After dinner we perform some of them.

Work with manuscript. We challenge our manuscript in order to correct and improve it. Moor improvisations to try different episodes and develop them. (After lunch a small group complete and write down the final manuscript)

 

14.00 – 17.00

“Open Door Work Shop”: Creative photo / theater / something…

Together with the Photo group we make a “photo commix” A story built in pictures.  The participants from the theater group acting and they how take part from the photo group make the pictures. Here we will built our story from the Camps leading theme ”Freedom by Responsibility”  We have to do a scenario and warily plan our activities during the work shop. The result will be shown at the closing ceremony program, Saturday the 12 of August..

Max. 12 participants plus the Photo group.

 

 

 

Tu. 8/8

09.00 – 12.00

Reading the manuscript and dividing the parts. We read through the completed manuscript penetrating it in order to dividing the parts, find out what we need concerning decorations, clothes properties, sounds, music and other details. The participants will now be divided in smaller groups for practically work. 

 

14.00 – 17.00

First rehearsal. We go through the whole manuscript on “the floor” to find out how to act and perform. We make the scenario.

In evening practically work if necessary.

09.00 – 12.00

Theatre rehearsals. We go through the scenario in details. Take an episode over and over again if necessary. Try to find harmony and tempo in the performance.

 

14.00 – 17.00

“Open Door Work Shop”: Creative dance / theater / something… Together with the participants in the dance group we create an utterly crazy dance, theatre and voice preferment. We will name it: “Wooops,,, toootally freeedom!!!” Let’s perform it after dinner in the frame of the evening program.

Max. 12 participants plus the Dance group.

09.00 – 12.00

Theatre rehearsals. We go through the scenario. Take an episode over and over again if necessary. Carefully putting the show together in to the smallest details.  

 

14.00 – 17.00

General rehearsals. Finalizing the theater work we make three general rehearsals, the last one in such a shape that it will go for a real performance.
